From sourcing the raw materials and selecting the very best pigment to the frustration of creating a new colour. There’s something very mesmerising about this video. It must be a great job dealing with all these lovely colours!
This is a great watch for anyone interested in printing, particularly woodtype printing presses. Set in Argentina, it provides a great insight into the craft. It’s really great to see there are people out there pushing these old school methods in an increasingly digital world.
